Quantity: Production numbers have not been officially disclosed by Nintendo. The Light Blue Pikachu Edition was released alongside the Orange Pikachu Edition and is generally considered the more common of the two Japanese colour variants by collectors.

Special Info: The Nintendo 64 Light Blue Pikachu Edition features a light blue and yellow console with a three-dimensional Pikachu moulded into the case. Pikachu’s foot functions as the Reset button, the Poké Ball acts as the Power button, and Pikachu’s cheeks illuminate when the console is powered on. The console was released as an official Japanese exclusive and shares the same unique design features as the Orange Pikachu variant.
Did You Know? The Japanese Pikachu Nintendo 64 was produced in both Orange and Light Blue colour schemes. While both are highly collectible today, the Light Blue version is generally regarded as the more readily available Japanese variant, with the Orange edition often considered the scarcer of the two. The interactive light-up Pikachu cheeks remain one of the most iconic design features ever included on a Nintendo console.
